At ANQAD, we seek a proficient Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our organisation, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, analyse processes, and facilitate the translation of requirements into effective IT solutions. Your expertise will bridge the gap between technology and business functions, ensuring seamless integration for our IT initiatives.
We're looking for a Business Systems Analyst to work one-on-one with clients in the region to simplify their business processes using Odoo ERP, our business process automation tool of choice. This is an implementation project management role for someone excited to work at the intersection of software and business. You'll be trained to become a subject matter expert across Odoo's many diverse apps (there are over 50!).

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document detailed business & resource requirements for Business Process Automation Projects.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure clear communication and alignment between the client's objectives and the proposed IT solution.
- Utilise Business Analysis methodologies to identify areas for process improvement, streamline workflows, and enhance the client's IT systems.
- Conduct a comprehensive gap analysis to identify discrepancies between existing systems and desired outcomes, proposing effective solutions to optimise business operations.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of requirements, objectives, project status and ongoing tasks.
- The ultimate mission is to implement the agreed solutions (configuration & development), drive 100% adoption of Odoo ERP in our client's environment and make the customer an Odoo Champion (training)
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 1 Year of demonstrated experience as a Business Systems Analyst, interpreting and implementing business requirements in an IT environment.
- Passion for learning business processes (Sales, accounting, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Finance and HR)
- Proficiency in analysing complex data and processes, coupled with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise communication.
- Proven track record of executing competing projects and tasks.
- Able to work in a rapidly evolving field.
- Affinity with the IT world
Nice to have
- Preferably, holding a certification in Business Analysis such as ECBA (Entry Certificate in Business Analysis) or related certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA), and one in Project Management (e.g. PRINCE, PMP) is advantageous, showcasing a commitment to advanced business analysis practices.
- At least 1-year of demonstrated experience in Management software implementation (ERPs / CRMs / HRMS / Accounting Software etc.)
- Familiarity with IT systems, databases, or programming languages to comprehend technical aspects and facilitate communication with technical teams.
- Previous experience in process improvement initiatives, such as Lean Six Sigma or other methodologies.
- Basic knowledge or experience in project management methodologies or frameworks.
- Technical knowledge (XML, Python, JS)
